Hey guys. I was looking on the avalanche.ca information network yesterday. Someone posted about having to pass through a gorge which is a bad terrain trap on the trail into blue lake (maps seem to suggest it is the blue lake area). I was thinking about going into blue lake with my wife if the road is open as it is supposed to be good for novice skiers which we are. Is this trail dangerous to do when the avalanche threat is high? We are down in the area visiting.

Yes, the one outside sicamous. Can a person get in there tomorrow or is the road closed?

Road is closed week days, and need radio with rr channels on weekends

U can get to it from owlshead in town via the connection trail

There's only one hill on the way to bluelake cabin, that they classify a avy possible spot, but unless it one in a million it will never go, and if it did I don't think it would runout to the trail
