i got a 13 pro rmk with aerocharger kit and running mnt magic clutching and i cant seem to pull my rpm needed. i got the turbo set to 9psi but my guage says 6-7psi and got 67 grams in the primary revving maybe 7700-7800.... just put in a brand new black green spring 120-340 hoping it would give me a little more rpm from the team white spring. but it didnt really make a difference. the guys at mnt magic said they all run 9psi at 70 grams weight. and thats just not working for me:mad:. right now my sled only pulls a high as the stockers and im not to impressed. should i just keep pulling weight out or what? HELP!!!

Keep putting weights will just drop your rpm. What helix and secondary are you running?

I ran 6-10lbs silber
Primary
Green/pink 160/340
80gr

Secondary
58/44
black red

i started at 70 grams with team white spring at mnt magics helix on turbo mountain cut with black purple spring. and brought it down to 68 and ive tried 66gram around edmonton here and 66 caused me to over rev but i had the team white spring in.
so i put in the black green spring in so i could pull some more rmp so i bumped it back up to 68 grams and ran out to mcbride and 68 grams was still to much so next day i brought it down to 67 grams and uped my boost to what should have been 8-9 psi but my gauge said i was only doing 6-7. i was hoping doing them changes i would pull enough rpm the next day but that didnt happen. on the trail i could only hold 7900 wtf!!! im half tempted to try my buddies silber clutching to see what it does. hes at 74grams at 10psi... at 9 psi i should be doing about 230-240hp. all this isnt making sense....

No reason why his silber clutching wouldn't be close. What angle is the turbo helix you have in their now? I am betting with those light weight and primary spring you have some belt slippage on your primary?

So
team white 120/310
Black Green 120/340

Black purple 160/240

Silber turbo kit comes with
Pink 180/320
76.5gr
Black Red 155-222
58/40 - 58/42

So when you had the white spring in and 70gr you over reved in Edmonton?

Or what combo caused you to over rev in Edmonton?

With 66 grams in with the team white I over revved around Edmonton. At 5psi. But mtn magic said put in the 120-340 because it will work better and give you more revs. So I added weight again when I put in the 120-340 so my over revving would stop.

Is there any belt slippage marks on the bottom of your primary?

With the current black green spring in and ?gr what are your revving now in Edmonton?

Remember that your at 2000' in Edmonton and 6000-7000' at renshaw McBride so you will have to drop a 2gr per weight.

Don't forget. You need to pull weight or add spring to up the revs into the desired rpm. But you need a heavy enough weight to prevent belt slippage.

I left the sled in Mcbride so I'll check on Sunday when I head back up. I talked to mnt magic today and he says its probable because I'm not boosting enough. He says they have 75 of these clutch kits out there and there all working. Like I said I have my turbo set to 9psi but my gauge is only reading 6. He said my springs are probably weak so come pick up a new spring and make sure your gauge is reading 9psi and I should be all good

I tried to buy a helix off of MTN magic today. Phoned there first thing this morning and got this chick on the phone. She told me she would call right back with what they had in stock. Well never did get a call. Poor customer service right there.

Were you trying to find out what the cut is or what?
