Has anyone ever powder coated there SS ATV rims? My SS aluminum rims are getting a bit beat up and starting to look fairly crappy I was thinking of getting them powder coated black. I havent priced it out yet so if the price is the same I'll just buy new ones. thanks

I priced it out last year at two places and $75 per rim is what I was quoted. That is in Calgary and the guy said the more you get done the cheaper it is.

When i priced it out it was about 65-70 a wheel, new ones are not much more after paying for dis-mounting and remounting.

hmm would the dismounting and remounting not be the same on new or old rims?

Ok right on, ya as for taking them on and off, I can prob do that, Does anyone know how the powder coating lasts and will hold up on a quad rim?
What is used to color the black SS rims from ITP?
I think it would be worth it as the price I am seeing at the local dealer for the is about $150 a rim, unless someone has a better connection let me know.
