I have an '03 Polaris Predator 500 and it has been a good quad for me. Very fast and stable platform. As far as sport quads go, it is a very nice unit. The only thing that really bugs me about it is that it doesn't have reverse... but I know it is possible to have it installed. Very strong motor... you can get yourself moving up to speed extremely fast

i also have an 03, its great zero problems and very fast. we also have a 05 outlaw 500 with the same motor and i like it even more....it is so damn smooth on a rough trail but i still prefer the predator in soft sand or dirt
My 03 has been trouble free, pulls like a whipped mule. Today is your lucky day, it's for sale. I bought a RZR this spring, the Predator is getting to be too much for an old guy like me. Machine's in mint condition and well maintained, let me know if you're interested and I'll give you a price and a list of aftermarket goodies.
