I'm new to snowmobiling, wondering if there are any places to stay in the mountains(McBride,Valemount,Fernie, etc.)where a person can ride the snowmobile right from the lodge to the trails?

You can in Elkford. Depending on where you stay you can in most other areas too. Might be a long ride in though

In McBride you can ride Belle from the Scarecrow Bed and Breakfast.
And Lucille from another B&B. Can't remember which one.
Renshaw you'll have to truck.

Valemount I believe you'll have to truck as well.

I remember years ago we stayed at the Blue Jewl in Blue River and we rode right from there.not sure if you can still do that.

The best place to sled for a week and never see you truck is Yellow Stone.

Yes, either the motel or the hotel, you can ride from both. Ride down and get gas and hit the trails.
