places around you can ride your atv in the winer time

hello everybody , my first post! i ride a 2010 can am renegade 800R and my whole famliy rides. im new to alberta looking for places for me and my famliy to ride during the winter any info helps ! I've been to Westlock area a lot looking for something new and exciting to ride!

with respect to your enthusiasm, tire machines and sleds don't mix well on the winter trails, so I doubt you'll get too many guys inviting you to their riding areas....just my small opinion....

but, welcome to Snow N Mud, we're full of advice here!!! lol

20min south to the north side north f lake where the hills are. To get to the creek on the south you need to go pretty much into Wetaskiwin

Is coal lake marked trails? Mostly trails or across lakes, etc?

A little skittish to go on lakes right now.....broke through the ice 3-4 weeks back on my quad

There’s just hills along the lake. The farmers have fenced off areas with signs that need to be respected. Lake it is good there’s pick ups out there.
