 Plastic Racks:eek: You can't put plastic racks on a Quad!

This is all I've heard from my Can-am buddies for years.

I'll get this started-

Who wants to bet that the new 1000 Can-am won't be able to do what the New 900 Sportsman XP will do?:)

We will know in 2 weeks, but i can`t see popo competing with the new Renegade in the power department.....If there is one thing i hate on my XP it`s the plastic racks, tough to wash and bungie to....Lot of ideas of the 850 went into the new canams....
Does anyone know FOR SURE if they have the ITC (fly by wire throttle) or is it just on the commanders?

The renegade is sweet but it looks to me like they can keep the rest. Yeah the power from a 1000 on the outlander would be sweet but the rest looks UGLY! plastic racks, exhaust, the engine area is totally filled up, looks like it could be a bitch to work on, and it even looks longer. Power on the outlander and the renegade as a whole looks good but Ill pass on the rest.

Just wonering if the 1000cc engine is the 800 bored and stroked or is it the same 1000 in the side x side. 82hp, I thought the 1000cc was rated at 85hp? Wondering if can-am took the bore it out approach to possibly save on weight.

It's the motor out of the Commander....hence the new frame as this motor is a bit taller than the 800/650/500.

Commander motor. Lost power from different air intake. Imagine not much room for plumbing in quad frame.
