I'm having a hard time finding a decent phone mount for a summit. Everything I've found mounts to the handlebars which sounds like a good way to break your phone. I'd like to be able to see the Gaia map while riding. I was thinking of finding a mount that i could fab on just below the gauge cluster? Any feedback on what anyone else is doing?

I've never had an issue other than screen being too small. Have to stop to see it. It has never come off on its own even rolling sled over to get unstuck. I will try and get a pic tomorrow

I use quadlock on my bikes and finally got it set up on my sled.

How is it for vibration?
The mount is solid, the iphone is easy to read and use, but the phone durability can be an issue. Quad lock offers a vibration reducer but I haven’t bothered with it because I’ve only had trouble once in many years of use on different bikes and atv’s.

I ruined one phone after lots of miles on my Harley. The camera image stabilizer failed, but the phone was near the end of its life so wasn’t a big deal.
