The cat mechanic says it should pull just under 7500 rpm full throttle with load, and he is right on, a buddy who has been a cat guy his whole life says over 8, what do you think? should i try to get more rpms with stiffer primary spring or lighter weights, or leave it at 7480?

The 1000 makes peak power at 7600, i run mine at 7800. 1 gram weight change makes 100 rpm difference, so lighten it up a couple grams and you will be rockin!

Triples ran 8250 -8600rpms.

Twins don't run anywhere near that. Stock is supposed to be under 7500.

Pipes and other mods need higher rpms to make more power.
