I am thinking about financing a 2012 Pro RMK as a second sled or it could become my #1. My goal is to turbo my 2011 LTD but have heard such amazing things about the pro RMK that I'm thinking of buying one to see how it is and then letting friends, girlfriend use the LTD.

My question:

a new 2011 LTD sno pro 153 is $11k 8.70 % apr 42 months

A new 2012 Pro RMK 2 year warranty 155 is $11700 2.9% apr 36 months

Looking at the fact I'm not paying cash for this and financing it. the Poo sounds like a much better buy...

Thoughts?

PS - love my m8 but stock for stock and a refined 2012 pro rmk 800 it would be better then buying a 2012 m8 which has had minor changes.

I love my 11 but the pro is the better deal for sure and I was pretty impressed with what I saw last winter, the 12 M8's are nice but the reviews are somewhat mixed and without a year under them you have to wonder what issues will arise, and they are also more money than both your current options. Personally I'd go retro pro

I work at a dealership In Nelson BC that has Both Polaris and Cat. Some pretty awesome and creative financing options available for both brands..

I am leaning towards a (New Cat 800) or Pro rmk.

The cost of a last year model 2011 Cat is near the cost of a newer unit. the Poo sounds like the best bet but my goal at some point it to turbo my m8 and honestly the pro will work well when friends come if I end up turbo'ing my machine.

I just paid off my 2011 LTD today!!! yay...

Ended up buying a 2010 M8 sno pro stock. for the $ it was the best bang for the buck since it is a 2nd sled and there's no reason to have 2 new sleds. I will eventually turbo one of these M8s, but that will wait until I am a far superior rider since I am still learning. Glad to have another M8, love these machines.

Actually bought 2, one is for sale $7700
1350 miles
warranty until 11/30/11
snow eliminators
cool vents
slp intake

Good choice! It will be easier to jump back and forth between the two, rather than trying to ride two different chassis. Congrats on the descision to turbo, it's a whole new kind of fun!!!!!!!
