Just like it says ... my 2010 m8 has oil in the air box .... the last thing I did was a service on my diamond drive and had the sled on its side while I put it back in ... could this be the cause or should I be looking deeper

the only place the oil could come from was through the throttle bodies when the sled was on it's side. how is it running? is it throwing any codes?

It's very common to get oil in that area, your oil is injected via your reed boots and that oil will find its way into your intake tracks. It's good practice to wipe out your intake bellow just to prevent the dirt and grime build up from the oil.

Hey this might be a dumb question but is the best way to wipe it out by removing the horn and just putting your hand in the hole with a rag? Just wondering cause yeah mine gets oily and grime builds up aswell.

Common I hear. Oil Tank pressures up and by passes the check valves.

Loosen your oil cap off a bit.

even our proclimbs have some oil in the air box, not something I'm going to worry about.....
