where the snow is
both areas are very nice to ride i like the north because of the access to good parking and i think it's a better family area

South is my preferance, good snow all the way down, from the plane, through to red mountain and beyond. Also with the burn it creates alot of playing areas. The North side is ok but depending on the year the snow starts to diminish by the valves ( mile 12). Also on the south side you can head over top the mtns into BC then circle back around and enter again by the plane crash. But all in all the Pass has good sledding anywhere and everywhere....its all on what type of riding you want to do that day

Now that sounds like a great excursion! Wish I had more time to spend in the area. Each trip out I find some new off the beaten path (to me) places to ride.
