Quading for years as a passenger and occasional driver but finally bought my own quad last season, 2007 Polaris Sportman 500 EFI. Family of 3 looking for some new trails; husband expert rider, wife intermediate rider, 10 year old son beginner, just bought him his first quad last night, 2008 Jetmoto 125cc.
Have been out a lot around Blackstone, Brazeau Reservoir, RMH area. Looking for something new, don't want to travel to Southern Alberta. Interested in Edson area, Fort Assinboine, Robb, Grande Cache. Usually do random (off-site) camping, but would consider campgrounds that allow atvs in.
ANY SUGGESTIONS? Thanks!

Welcome to the site, lots of people with trail knowledge around here. It will be a completely new view when your not looking at the back of drivers helmet. Make sure to post some pics of the new machine.:D

Congrats on the new units. Whitecourt is an perfect area to quad. There are thousands of kms of trails here from beginner to expert. Check it out some time.

Where abouts in the Whitecourt area? Are there any campgrounds that allow quads in or do you know of some offsite spots in the area? Thanks!

Welcome to the site. For some of the staging/riding area's see the left side navigation menu. There is a great place with random camping called Bembo's post camp, great family quadding there. Or you can head towards rocky and stay at outwest campground.

There are major quad trails all around Whitecourt. To the south there is what the locals call "The Mountain" its a huge hill you can't miss it. Tons of quading there for miles and miles. Lots of spots to random camp, just gotta look around a little.
