new to me. 790 miles. took for rip out of trailer today through field into shop. very tight steering. looks like new steering post. what could I start looking at? it is -40 here at home. though maybe was just the cold and stiff. anyone have any comments?

Any snow under the hood icing things maybe? I know that used to happen to my 04 mountain cat.

bring her in and thaw her out and check the steering while she's warm.

Any grease in steering spindles? There's a few spots for grease in the front end that people overlook like I did until I had to fix my tight steering to

Same thing happened to me this weekend took it out of a heated shop onto a cold trailer n went to ride it and it was like trying to steer a tank. Pour some methyl hydrate on your steering components and if there's any ice in there it will melt it out
