When I was a kid my grandpa had a tour outfit in Peace River. As the years past, the boat left the family but it didn't go far and I was able get it back this weekend! It's a long ways from where it was but I'm ready to give it an update. There's 2 new 350 Marine Power packages and 309s to go in and then start from there!

I seen that boat sitting somewhere and can't for the life of me remember where it was.. Looks like an adventure for sure.

Would have been in a yard in Peace River for the last 8 years, up in the industrial area

Will likely perform as well as outlaws new e7 wide body and cost you about 130 grand less.

That's a BOLD statement... I've spent some time in a couple E7 wide bodies and have been more than impressed numerous times. like a 23' mini with 1200 HP lol. If mine performs close and runs as shallow I'll be ecstatic!! but the 130k cheaper is the goal...

Ha ha yes I suppose will need a little lipstick to look like a new widebody, was thinking the running surface will be very similar and having 2 engines will be fun.

I like their picklefork style snub front with a drop bow, might look at removing the ramp on the front of mine to shed some weight and clean it up a bit. tough to get in a big boat though... might need a small set of trailer steps over the trailer tongue? ramp is pretty handy...

So I've sold off the old running gear and have been looking for a trailer. Any Edmonton/Canadian built companies? I would just go Gateway but the dollar is so bad... Anyone know a welder who wants to build it?

Don't think you can "homebuild" trailers anymore? could always buy an old wreaker trailer cheap and modify though

I will go new or custom. I'm sure a fab company can still make a trailer, look at my sport....

the trailer under the boat now is an old homebuilt out of a mobile home lol, the third axle was added later and it needs a lifted truck to launch...

You can still built home built but have to have it certified so to speak .
Regs on lights, light locations and so on .
I think $400 ish for the sticker .

And buying a built one will be cheaper then building a custom one . Lol
Wizard Lake Marine used to handle them and would order whatever you wanted .

I would totally build you a trailer but I don’t think my garage is longer enough.[/QUOTE

Thanks man! I will look into axles and such. might just have to find you an empty shop for a bit! I've been told to budget 8K for a trailer so I'm sure a guy could build one cheaper no?

Triple axle I am guessing within it being a twin ?
All aluminum triple with V rollers and the rollers lift up and down for loading and unloading was a bit over double your budget. Lol
24 ft boat .

not sure if a triple is necessary, motors/pumps are only 2000# total. I think a well built steel tandem would be fine. Twin diesel/Hammy hardtop is triple territory for sure.

How big of axles? Two 3500 lb axles you will be overloaded.
Boat before the one we have now was 22.5 foot with twin pressure pumps , one motor no plastic.
Boat , 4000 lbs brand new without anything in it .
Tandem Trailer with 3500 lb axles was 1998 lbs .
I was over loaded when full of fuel and rigged up .
Just info as yours might be way lighter .
PS,
The triple pulls so much better .

I haven't seen triple trailers very often, The guys with E7s are running tandems so I only assumed I could get away with the same. Thanks for the heads up!
