A group of us are planning on coming up the weekend of the 13-15th of December and staying in Nakusp. Was wondering if New Denver area usually has enough snow by then. Have wanted to ride that area for awhile now. Also was wondering if there were any other honey holes around Nakusp to ride? We are probably going to do one or two days in Trout Lake too.

been up st leon fsr before was ok for early season (road riding), could try that or just north up halfway fsr. Both those forest service roads are real close to Halcyon hotspring so could take a dip after, did abit up kuskanax fsr early season also was worthwhile.

Most those areas feed you into the alpine, this year weve got tons of snow up high so should be good.I cant help you much as I dont get around there to much, trout lake is a killer area nearby and gets allot of sled use.
