just wundering if it is possible to record the movies you watch.... then be able to put them on a ipod ... has anyone tried this

I'm pretty sure you could somehow but it would probably be pretty complicated, if you want them for your Ipod you can get pretty much whatever you want from some kind of file sharing website. Hope that helps! :beer:

i will just get my father inlaw ... to get me movies i just need a hand full of usb sticks

signed up with netflix last night and found the video quality not so good. has anyone else found that? don't think its my connection as the movie ran smooth.not jittery.

I will agree with the picture quality. Mind you, I have a 240 hz 1080p Tv and a Blueray player. Some of the shows that I watch on Netflix are 30 years old and not shot in high quality. I think I'm just spoiled by the new technology. For 8 bucks a month I'll still watch Netflix.

when you are online on netflix go into your account and help in the top right corner, then click on manage video quality. You can change it between good quality, better quality and best quality. Basicly changes your download speeds for better picture quality. I thought the same about the lousy picture then changed my settings and the quality is closer to HD quality now.
