I own a 99 700RMK and really need to lift the bars up about 6 inches or so from stock.
Are there any kits available out there or homemade fixes that are good?
I'm tired of being bent over all the time. :d

ccmachines.com kurt well make you a new heavy duty steering post any lenght you want. I have one of his posts made 2" longer(4" longer then your 99) with a olies 6" riser which raises the bars straight up by having a 30 degree angle to the riser.

6" riser, powermadd throttle extension, new brake line and some wire, solder and heat shrink or butt splices for the wiring.

on my 98 rmk i have an 8'' riser and thats pushing it. i bent mine and just keep bending the post back... in my opinion spend the money and get the post legthened and beefed up rether then having a broken steering post watching all your buddies ride by
