It was smoke for the win at Sonoma. After wheel hopping into a turn on the last lap smoke was passed by Danny Hamlin, but not to be denied smoke went into the final turn as Hamlin drifted up got under him and put a fender to the side of him. Hamlin bounces off the wall and smoke goes on to get the checkers. No hard feelings as Hamlin congratulated smoke on the victory and agreed with Tony he did what he had to do.

Kurt Busch crashed so he will now start tail end of the field and I guess Johnson will start near the front as his crash happened before qualifying was cancelled? Never heard that before. JJ will start 9th as per owner points. The rule has always stated that whatever car you present to pretech for the 1st practice is your primary car for the race. He crashed in 1st practice and had to go to a backup car so should have to start at the back but can still get a good pit stall based on his qualifying session. Maybe because of qualifying being cancelled this rule doesn't apply? Not sure. Lol
