Pretty good race today at Vegas. Was over 100 degrees temps during the race and over 140 in the cars. Congrats to Truex catching the 4 car late to win the first race. Here was the top 10: 19-4-2-9-12-88-24-42-22-6 Richmond next week.

best of luck to both drivers. you could put all the childress cars on the track by themselves and they would still find a way to lose. childress and rousch have not been competitive for so long i forget they are even part of the race.

Yeah its sad that the 3 iconic race teams of the late 1900's and 2000's are now just average teams compared to the Gibbs, Penske and SHR teams. Although Hendrick is starting to pull out of their funk a little bit every month.

Hendrick has a lot of young talent, it will take time but there will be champions in that garage sooner than later. crazy to see Jimmy fall off, I would love to see an 8 time champ but I just don't think its going to happen now... Does that mean 7 time is a curse?
