Congrats to Kurt Busch for his competitive 6th place finish in the Indy 500 yesterday racing for Andretti Motorsports. He had the highest placing in history at that race for a rookie and tied for the best finish by a Nascar driver attempting the double with his boss Tony Stewart in the 2001 Indy race. Of note past Nascar driver JPM finished 5th yesterday.

Could this be the end of powerhouse Roush Fenway Racing? Reports today say Greg Biffle may be out for next year. Biffle told Sirius radio he has a place to race next year if contract negotiations go south which they apparently have. An insider at RFR says Biffle is not in the teams plans for next year and that 3M may be leaving with Biffle. With Edwards almost certainly leaving as well that leaves Trevor Bayne and Ricky Stenhouse as the remnants of a once powerful organization. Domino's should start falling shortly...

I think the only option would be Penske but it still doesn't solve the issue of losing Edwards and Biffle to possibly Toyota? Petty is looking at Toyota as well and one could argue they are as competitive as Roush now. If they merged Ford would sit with 1 marqee driver in Keselowski.
