My track is falling apart! How much longer can I ride?

So I bought this '92 Polaris 500 (its not actually efi)for $500 (not the best deal, but I just wanted a beater sled) and was out on the ice today and must have clipped an ice chunk or two when fish tailing because all of a sudden I noticed that only when hard accelerating, and going throw the 8-12mph range it had a real bad sound and vibration but once up to speed, or accelerating slowly it was fine. Upon closer inspection I found that I was missing three chunks of rubber on the far outside right of the track. My question is: is it somewhat safe to ride it in this condition? How long will it probably make it? I ride a combo of lakes/trails/ditches. Here's some pics:
