Who all had an encounter with him this weekend?
At the junction of the oldman river road and the hidden creek trail. He was tall, skinny , wearing hip waders up to his armpits and extremely angry , abusive yelling , swearing. Was about to cross and he approched the group of us and asked us if we where going to cross. Told him yes and he loses it. Offered to show him the local atv map and show him that it was a legal crossing. He refused the offer and continued yelling at us. Thought it was going to turn violent on his behalf. We then crossed the river as he was taking pictures.
Talked to some other bikers and quaders on the trail and sounded like he was harrassing a few people on the weekend ?

Rest assured that whatever use those pictures will serve it will be made known it was at a legal crossing.

he may have been carrying a friggin uzzi, protecting his friggin property, or he just could have been nuts, better to just leave the guy alone, and move on. whether your right or wrong.

as long as you are legally able to ride off hiway vehicles you are allowed to legally cross streams and rivers as long as you go strait across and not back and forth up and down the river or stream

I mostly agree.....but.......it seems only the crazies recklessly use guns....

It was weird as srd truck was parked down the road a hundred yards or so.
This guy had hip waders on up to his arm pits but no fly fishing accecories present.
Crossing was here
And down stream about 100 feet or so was a bridge built by a logging company with a locked gate on it.

yeah seems like the lunatics keep getting there hands on guns, the honest guy pays the price. i starred down a gun barrel, and got the heck outta there, found out later the guy was a loose cannon. but had access to firearms, although he may have used anything he could bet his hands on. guns are usually final.
