lt230s quadsport questions

i dug to 85 quadsports out of a shed.. they are complete.. my question is what is stock compression ratio when new.. both my motors pull 60 and i thinks it low.. im use to 2stroke at 150psi..any help would be great..

For an 1985 lt-230s the standard comp pressure is 171-228 psi
The limit is 142psi,
Are u holding the throttle wide open, when cranking?
Do ur motors actually fire up and run?
Squirt sum oil in the plug hole and try comp test again.
u sed u where pulling them over, what happened to the starter? Battery?

they are both kickstart.. they both have great spark but wont start.. im going to rebuild them.. just was wondering compression ratio for when i tare into them so i have a bass line to work with.. i ordered a clymer manual for it.. they havent been ran since 1996

thanks for info any thing else would also be use full...

They might have an automatic decompression pin on the cam that will give you lower readings
