I lost a Hd Hero camera(whole unit, with housing and brackets) up at allen creek in Valemount on Wednesday dec 29, 2010.. Area most likely was lost was trails below the first cabin...

I know it doesn't help recover this GoPro but I have a tip for Helmet cam users.
My first GoPro got wiped off my helmet this past summer by a branch or something... who knows. I never did find it.
Now I take a small lanyard from any digi-cam or whatever and attach it to the helmet cam housing and the other end to my helmet. If something caused the cam to come off the helmet, you will still have your cam dangling from your helmet... these things are too pricey to lose!
