Losing power

Have an 09 renegade 800. Just broke 1000miles, bottom half of the throttle is pretty groggy, then it takes off like normal once you hit mid to upper RPMs. Idles fine, never threatens to quit. Ideas?

I would check all the wear parts on the primary clutch. Have had a badly worn governer cup make a sled act like that.
