i think what perplexes us men is the double standard that we see in females. We see and hear women demand equal rights, no discrimination, all the while standing beside a Muslim woman wearing a burka that has no equal rights in her religion, yet you say nothing about her subjugation to her husband and her religion. You want to be cops and firemen, yet demand that the physical requirements be reduced for females so that they can make the grade.
Theres no excuse for sexual harassment on the job. Period. It's been my experience that when it happens it's a result of one or both parties being unethical or unprofessional. And not always just the male. Dating co workers usually ends in a train wreck. Men need to learn that friendliness doesn't mean desire, and women need to learn that men are absolutely clueless when it comes to interpreting female behaviour. Communicate simply and directly cause we're pretty slow on the uptake when it comes to relationships.
As for the POS that was groping the girls in the pool, arrest, try, convict and deport him in that order. Women in his culture are chattel, similar to livestock, and will continue to be viewed that way until the rest of Canadian society makes it clear to them that aspects of their religion are intolerable to us. But it's Canadian WOMEN that must make that case, because if us men do it, we will be branded as racists and ignored.

With Trudont backing out of changing the "first past the post" voting system because he knows the Liberals would lose the next election there is little hope he is gone anytime soon.

Many people do not believe a proportional system would work but if someone votes Conservative because they believe in their ideals, then they should have Conservative representation, as with Liberal, NDP and whoever else. The losing party has no representation even though %60+ of the country does not agree with Liberal politics. There are problems with the proportional system but its the best solution to have your parties represented.
