looking to buy a 2003.5 Rev with 5000 km (3100 miles)

Hello

The sled has new top end and compression was 150 in each hole .. it has not had a bottom end job done though and I'm a little worried about the crank / bearings. Not sure if 03.5 was a bad year or a good year for bottom ends. and in either case, is 5000km/3100 miles pushing it on the crank ?

Is there any inspection we can do on the crank to determine if its in good shape still ? Any preventative maintenance ?

150 sounds high? I'm not a gear-head but I've got about 125 in each cylinder on my 04 Rev 800 with about 3000 kms and I thought that was fine. Am I too low?

When I had my 04 I was around 144 on each side. I think mid to high 140s was were it should be.

if you want you can redoo the crank... then you know it is good... my 07 run around 130.... yours just might need too be ran just so breaks in
