Take a look at the new tunnel bag from bca.
I was looking at that and wonder if I have to drill any holes?
I bought one today at the sled show. What sled?

I need a new tunnel bag for my 163 axys. Any opinions on what works and what doesn't. Aftermarket ones? I really don't want to spend $400 on a new Polaris hard bag.
get a BCA bag. I prefer the one that they had last year vs this year, but both have a couple options. Last year was a plastic flap that mounts to your or in your Polaris rails and it has a slide in pocket on the bag. Then two straps that I hooked to the back of the boards completely out of the way and are on snap hooks. Rolls bumps and everything else not one broken or undone strap and never lost the bag or came even close. Inside dry sack or place to put wet gear, dividers bright yellow / green so easy to see and the outside shovel carrier is second to none! This year you can get the linQ or Polaris fold over holders and install them on the bag, raised center for the doo tunnel and bottom and sides are more rigid, no more plastic flap or slide in pocket. Inside of this years bag has the bottom all open one compartment, would have the Polaris flip locks inside it, and the lid has two zip shut compartments that could hold a couple pairs of gloves each and are clear heavy heavy material, said to “wick” away moisture....
i have the Burandt bags, Ogio bags, Mountain Addiction and the BCA bag. Mountain Addiction works ok on the Axys rails as you can adjust the rails so your cans and bags slide off easier, I could never get the cat tunnel rails to release anything without a swift kick or ten, even with whatever put on there to help make it slide easier. No handles for the bags, but if you want to spend the cash, and a lot of it then you have options for gas can size and bag size combinations.
Ogio large is awesome, can fit a smaller shovel under hard shell, TONS of room i there but it’s big. No quality issues but your back up in the $400 range. Same deal with the Burandt bags, they are awesome and I run the medium ish one, fit what I need to carry as I use the under seat bag too.
if you can find a last year BCA tunnel bag, hands down the best one especially because it’s on and off so fast and simple, can take it with you at days end one less thing to have to juggle. SUper good quality and IMO better than the new one for storage, but the new one has the lock and ride Polaris system capability and would look like a cleaner install, but it’s an open it up to install or take off.
Show had the new ones around $160 - $180, the Polaris tabs would be an extra cost not sure how much.
GOOD LUCK!
thanks so much for the information. a local sled shop has a last year model on sale right now. he gave it to me to take home to check it out. i figure to mount the back removeable straps to my hd rear bumper bolts.

This is the first model, last years. Those are the supplied Polaris rail clamps, works awesome, super simple.
No problem holding snow, was good. For a descent priced bag it’s worth the money.
