Only crappy part is if you have a habit of dumping your jerry at the cabin then the shovel will most certainly disappear.

The trick is to burn enough before your first stop that you can dump it in and keep the can on the sled anyone that says they want less weight on the sled should just push the plate away sooner lol

exactly, I ride with mine all day, doesn't make that much of a difference. I laugh at these people that need to have the lightest sled out there, then add tunnel bags and load em with crap which defeats the purpose and looks like junk

I bought a shovel mount from them last winter and they made it clear to me the purpose of this shovel is for a few different reasons.....first for how handy it is when your stuck and second because some places you are stuck if wearing a avy pack it might not be the best idea to remove pack to get to your other shovel incase of a slide! They did however recommend highly that i still carry another shovel in my pack incase i get seperated from my machine! They also had a linq style shovel mount that mounts behind the gas can where the tunnel bag can be mounted....but it was more money but this would be a good set up for the guys that drop their fuel...hope this helps!
