Lake suggestions for Canada day

We're looking for a nice lake around 2 hours from the edmonton region for the long weekend. We usually stay at long island south of boyle, but are looking for a change this year. Just wondering where fellow snow and mudder's spend their off season.

Well if Ur looking at going to a lake I would say better decide and book if ya can... Will be full everywhere.


But most I'm sure quad and not at a lake kind of thing....

What about long island lake north and east of westlock ???

We've spend a couple July long weekends at Fawcett lake. Nice campground if you stay at the provincial park. Proprietors even had a fireworks show for all the kids.

Gleniffer, boat should get an 5mph on the top end due to the reduced friction.
