KX 250 clutch

Rode the bike for the first time since summer 2008, when I rode it than the clutch lasted about 20mins than no go. I kinda forgot about this wonderful walking?lost experience when I went out again today. Bike did the same thing, do I put a new clutch in or what?

And what the cheapest place to get a clutch? Im in no hurry as the bike rarely moves.

I take it you already tried adjusting your clutch perch to tighten up your cable ?

you can get the fibers from the stealer for around 200 but i would take it apart and look. my clutch basket in my cr was done,when mine did the same
thing as yours.or if you have the time e bay will have some good deals

I would start with changing the oil and using a good 80-90 gear oil. Pay attention to the color and smell of the oil. If it smells burnt and is a dark grey color you'll most likely need to replace fibers at least.
