Jaws Twin Pipes on M1000?

Looking to put a set of the Jaws twins pipes with quiet can on Cat M1000 (have Boondocker). Anyone run these pipes and do they work well, how about fit and finish, what kind of hp numbers, and is it worth it to run them on stock 1000 cylinders or ported cylinders. Any input would be great. Thanks.

Re: Jaws Twin Pipes on M1000?

One of my riding partners has a set of jaws twins with stingers on his 09 M1000 and they seem to work really well. They do take up alot of room under the hood and you have to get creative with the routing of the hoses and wiring so they don't melt. They also reak havic on the powervalve cables so he ended up putting in the bdx powervalve delete kit. Just make sure you take the time to put heat tape on everything that is close to the pipes and you should be fine.

My brother had the jaws twins on his m1000 loved the power did not like the fit. Had to trim hood, bend power valve cables, grind power valve covers, sided belly pan were it joins melted together. Ran the bdx lost all throttle response did not like it at all if running below half throttle.
