j hook removal on adrenaline handlebars

just replaced my handlebar on my 05 summit adrenaline. all went well except i can't get the lock wedge out from the old bar to transfer the j hooks over to the new set. any suggestions?

i've soaked in WD and with pulling on the screw with pliers, they won't come out. thanks.

You might have to loosen off the Allen bolt then drive the bolt in first to break the wedge free.
