They closed the gates when all the snow melted a couple weeks ago to keep campers, trucks and such out of there. It was open for sledding until April 30th as per the FLUZ map. When sledding opened for the season on Dec 1st, the gates remained closed until a couple days after as well. No big deal unless you go earlier, or after the posted dates, then you get nailed and rightfully so.
It's snowing good w/ heavy stuff to hit at midnight!
