Is that time of year folks. The first braaaaap is not farr off.

As a fall promotion, Frozen Pirate would like to offer anyone booking with us before Nov 1, 2016, $25.00 off any AST1 or 2 course fee and $50.00 off any guide services (minimum deposit required).

That’s a minimum of $150 off the AST1 course for a group of six or more, so get your group together and plan to get trained.

And remember, if you have taken a course with the Pirates before, you are able to take the course for free with a minimum 6 person referral. This means that if your group is not all up on their avy savy, get them out here and get yourself a refresher along the way.

Hey Adam,

Sorry for the delay. The AST 2 involves much more field time (3days) and focuses on trip planning, terrain use and selection and snow stability analysis, advanced companion rescue, terrain management based on local hazard etc.

Its an involved course that I think many will benefit from.
