ignition problems

I have an 01 summit 800 sled was running fine took into shop put on new recoil adjusted pulley alignment and played with helmet heater plug. Tried to start, no start, check spark no spark. Played with wires checked dess and kill swith all seemed ok. Now i'm finding out that if you turn it over with kill swith off then turn kill switch on(run position) it will fire briefly. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like a dead short to ground on the switch wireing not sure but when you pull rope is it moving wires slightly alowing sled to fire ? check for a bared wire under a zip strap grounding out against the frame

try unplugging the kill swich and see what happens
