ice scratchers were to Mount on 2008 M8

I pick up a set of ice sractchers for my 2008 M8 153, went to the shop this afternoon to put them on the machine not sure were to mount them on the rails, On the bag it says the are for a 2009 m series, would this make a diffrence.

yah i ran into the same thing asked the dealer they said u gotta drill the holes it shows in the pics, the 09s already have the hole drilled

Just put a set on my 08 1000 this week just looked int the acc book and the pic of the 09 and estimated on the 08 worked perfect. Can take some pics if you need.

hmmc if you have some pic that would be great, I have any idea were they go, but just want to make sure.
