Ice Auger

I know it is a little early but i'm looking for an Ice auger for the upcoming ice fishing season. I haven't owned a power auger before and looking for some input on what are some good ones out there.

I still got the ol hand one!! Works good though!!

i have a jiffy and it seems to do the trick.. keep your eyes open at the fishin hole or bass pro shops.

Yup get a Jiffy 8" 3 hp, I'm pretty sure that's what mine is and works awesome, have never had a problem at all and she punched alot of holes.

i got an 8" tanaka, i think thats what its called, I remember grandpa drilling holes withit when i was younger than my son is now. has never missed a beat. got it passed down to me about five years ago. still works great.

I have the Jiffy model with a 6 inch cut now for at least 10 years, got it from a older guy, the paint was still on the muffler for $250.00. Brother has a Huskavarna [speeling??] work good also.

Keep an eye out at Peavy Mart and Costco, they usually have pre season sales on Jiffy ice augers.
