Well i have a friend that has a 09 800 with a 163 3" track that has been ported and head shave by split second in valleyview. The real issue is i have to beat him. So i am looking for suggestions. I am thinking of a 860 or 880 big bore, add a 3" track but am not sure if that will be enough. I am trying to stay with something that is still relatively dependable. I am thinking of a arctic edge or split second kit. but what do you think?

What sled do you have? What has been done to it?
What is the weight difference between you two?
Alot of things to consider but the person with the most tuning ability and funding will always be ahead.
Have seen $40000.00 dollar sleds that have had there ass's handed to them by a lighter rider and stock sled that is clutched and set up right.

I just got my sled with a 880 kit from split second and am installing a 174 3 inch this weekend. Hoping to get my syncro drive in by the weekend too. This better work hahaha

If you weight more than him its going to be tough. Being on the lighter side of things with my re geared track swapped 09 I can constantly out climb guys with 3 inch e-tecs with pipes and drivers.

Well I did it. 880 bb, 174 3 track, col air intake, gauge vent kit, and synchro drive give me the sled to do it. Runs awesome.
