How much slack do we want for the flipper?

Mine is a 14 pro 800, it seems like the flipper has lots more play (up and down as well as to the bar) in it then it should. But the sled seems to idle and ride fine. I don't really want to mess with it because of all the tps issues I've read about.

It looks like that clip is still in the bottom of the pin to hold it in place, it doesn't seem like any of the plastic is broke but it does move around a lot more then I'd like, is this a normal pro thing?

I was thinking it is b/c of the many rolls its seen to get unstuck, but those are never on hardpack

I've always gone with no more than a credit card thickness between the flipper and the stop at idle.
Never had an issue.

Cables stretch, use the adjuster with lock nut to remove slack. 1-2mm play at the flipper.

Okay adjusted it, seems pretty good now. The worst part was getting that rubber boot on and off to adjust that lock nut
