honda trx 500 snorkel

Hi all! i have a question regarding a snorkel for a 2006 trx500. If i run it in 2" will i need to rejet the carb or will it not affect preformance? Thanks in advance for the replys!!!

75% of the time rejetting or fuel mapping(ecu's) is required

You going to be running single 2" or double 2" piping?

One 2" xfr pvc pipe. im hoping with the fire rated pipe i can get as close to the engine as possible with no melting issues.

It will not require re jetting, buddy just snorkeled his 2007 500 foreman with a single 2" pvc and it works awesome, make sure you run the carb breathers up the snorkel to. He said he has more throttle response than stock with the snorkel, less restriction I guess


One 2" xfr pvc pipe. im hoping with the fire rated pipe i can get as close to the engine as possible with no melting issues.

Check the spark plugs if there white its lean black rich and brown about right This is not an exact but a good reference
