Highlights of 2011

As the year draws to a close, and a new one begins, lets hear the highlights of your past year...

I am finding this one quite a challenge!! I usually have a tonne of cool trips and adventures to mark the months. Despite being one of the most fulfilling and best years I can remember, 2011 was a very quiet year for me and mine. Most of my memories are quaint and subtle and marked with none of high excitement that usually follows me!! The year went blistering fast, and I am hoping that 2012 will slow somewhat and I can continue to enjoy a more sublime existence that is rich in time spent with family and friends.

Highlights:
*Moving home to BC to be closer to my parents and family
*Buying a dream house and acreage
*Enjoying more time off, less exercise, and a more well rounded approach to health
*Sledding my damn face off
*Rasmussen Clinic
*My hilarious and daring children and the husband who adores us... Always
*Taking a new approach to my photography- making it about passion and not about business
*Meeting new friends and enjoying old ones
*Homemade Christmas PJ's

Highlights
*keeping a 90's average except in english and social,"pff who needs tht"
*Enjoying the whole year, all with friends and familly
*Bringing my dad back into the sport of motocross making new and renewing old experiences and memories
*Spending more time with my younger bros on my senior year before i leave for college
*Getting back into skiing from a 3 year break, still able to do 360's and 180's P
*Extending my personal record of a wheelie/catwalk on my pedal bike from 1km to 1.5km...
*Personal record of slalom water skiing @ 60 mph

Highlights:
*shooting my first whitetail buck at 250 yards, which was a decent 4X4 (I am 14, so its a big deal)
*last winter I learned some great sledding skills
*Bought this awesome iPhone 4S
*had an awesome season of dirtbiking.
Just to list a few. Lol.
Looking forward to 2012!!!

-After 16 years we finally got married in Maui back in Jan
-Sad thing was during our two weeks there we had to have our dog of 15 years put down. Was a very sad day.
-In the spring we picked up a 6 month old kitten and 3 month old dog/horse
-We traded in the wifes polaris for her can-am.
-We sold our house in Deadmonton back in June and bought a nice house in Cardiff
-Moved into the house in Aug after spending a month in the motorhome
-Got my new snowchecked sled
-Picked up my first diesel truck. One ton crew cab.

Overall except for our dog,it was a pretty good year for us.
