Looks like a GIO.... Is it an E-bay quad? If it is its probably not worth dump`n a bunch of cash into it as they dont tend to last very long. Been down that road already..... Just my two cents.

Trail Tech makes guages to mount on pretty much any kind of machine, air or liquid cooled. the Endurance model at around 70 canuck bucks will show speed and mileage. the Vapor has an RPM readout, engine temp, odometer, shift lights, high temp warning lights, as well as speedometer for an extra $40.

I just upgraded from the battery powered Endurance, ran it for 2 seasons without trouble. the Vapor connects to the vehicle battery and has a way better backlight setup.

Very easy to install, pretty quick and simple guages that work.

got the Endurance from the local Honda dealer, bought the Vapor brand new on ebay. Check out trailtech.com, there is a bunch of accessories for offroad/atv stuff.

You can install gauges on any quad with a little work. Mind you, not sure if you want to put a thousand dollars worth of gauges on your 800 dollar quad. :p

Re: hey dose anyone know hot to put guages on a guagless atv

For all the sport quads I've had, I've never even thought about puting gauges on. I was always too busy trying to hang on.

Now that I have been back on the 4x4's for a bit, I do look at the gauge out of curiosity, but I still only ever need it when we are drag racing and trying to see who hit the fastest speed. I really don't think I'd miss the gauges at all.

Is there a specific reason you want them?

For a great price you can get away with a bicycle computer. Just have to be a bit of a fabricator when seting up the mounts. I put one on my CRF450R and soon my YZ450F. Its nice to know how far you have gone in the mountians. Or your top speed in certain sections, and also ride time (if you dont have an hour meter). I was surprised to have done just over 60km at the Castrol track one night, I would have never guessed I did over 30 laps.

Do a search on other forums and get some pictures and mounting ideas.

I agree with MrMorgan...do you have a specific reason for wanting gauges, we even take all the lights off even the dash lights....on the race track there just not needed. Although I did strap a GPS to them to catch the top speed, who wouldnt read a speedo any way....

great point about the GPS. I have an old magellan that has a spedo function. I have a handlebar mount that I have used on my wr450 and klr650 dual sport bikes. That would be the simplest way to go.
