Help on a '96 XCR 600

My buddy was riding his sled today when it started bogging and backfiring. He shut it down quick and we went and got it with the trailer. Did compression test, 125 on all three cylinders, spark on all plugs. Starts up quick but sounds like only running on two cylinders intermittently. Hard to hear real well, only ran it for a few seconds. No throttle response at all.

Fuel delivery issue??

Any suggestions appreciated.

I just tuned one of those and had to set the floats in the carbs a little tighter it was over fueling

Crap in the carbs or check the throttle block!If that pin gets to loose it will cut out on the safety switch in the throttle housing.Possible throttle cable issue,might be starting to fray and causing it to hang up a bit.
