Hello new to the site looking for help

Hi i think this site is great and lots of helpful info. I am in Alberta but do most of my riding around the local area dont get to ghe mountsins often. I have a 2010 renegade Backcountry X 800R just bought it this fall giving check engine light between 6000 and 7000 RPM nothing else but check engine is displayed. It has an SLP Y Pipe and Neil's can and I assume it has been reflashed for the Y pipe but not sure. Any ideas?
