Just joined the forum thanks to google.

I have a Honda Trx400 AT which has been playing up recently, the auto wont shift and the esp caption flashes mainly when I switch it off in gear.

Sounds like the auto shift sensor is acting up, if so it's a quick fix at the dealer to clean the contact for you. As for the esp I wouldn't have any idea.

i agree with dale on that. likely the position sensor is out of adjustment. and please send pics it would be neat to see the lay of the trails
