heated shields

Hi
Wanting to put a plug on my 2003 rmk 700 for my heated shield. Any suggestions were to get a good power source? I found a plug down by the voltage regulator with a yellow and brown wire just hanging there it has a female end.Will this plug do the trick? Should I but a fuseable link on there?

Any help would mean alot

On my 05 fusion there is a aux plug to the right of the steering post

the wires to it are red/white and brown
