Been offered a cylinder head to go on my ported and piped 02 ZR 800 EFI. This new mono head has domes for 4000' to 10000' on pump gas. Head volume is 33.9cc.
At just over 2000' and am wondering if I can run these heads on 91 octane without having to add race gas?
Stock heads are at 34.6cc with min squish of 0.062, however I had them modified to a squish of about 0.061 ( have to confirm actual) with the domes modified as well. I run 91 Octane with no issues.
Squish on the mon head might be right around 0.060.
Can anyone offer insight into whether or not I would need to add race gas at 2000'?
