Hello everyone. Glad to be part of this site, it was highly recommended by my brother in Edmonton. I am in my mid 50's and grew up as a kid snowmobiling almost every weekend on machines like John Deere's, Kawasaki Sno Jets, Elans, etc., you know, cool old vintage stuff!
Once I was married and had kids, the boys played hockey and kept me from snowmobiling. Now, 35 years later, I was convinced by my son to get back into it, so in the last 4 years I have gone from a 2000 Polaris RMK, to a 2015 Arctic Cat Cross Country, and just last spring I bought my new baby, a 2020 Arctic Cat Riot X 800.
I am really having fun again, and am looking forward to my first ever mountain trip this winter with my son and brother.
I have joined this site as I know it is a wealth of knowledge, and I have lots of questions seeing as things have changed since I last rode the Sno Jet.
